Workstation
Count Geophysics has 2 main workstation platforms in-house. The UNIX-based Schlumberger GeoFrame system and the Windows NT-based SeismicMicroTechnology Kingdom suite. These can be used for interpretation, data conversion or loading.

• The GeoFrame system has both IESX and Charisma 2D/3D interpretation software available in addition to mapping, synthetic generation, post-stack processing and complex data-loading capabilities. It is typically used for heavy-duty projects (we have handled some with over 1000 well penetrations).
• The Kingdom suite also has complete 2D/3D interpretation capability and geophysical applications.

Systems are available for in-house use or hire.

Specialised Processing
We have carried out projects both on our own workstations and in conjunction with associate companies. In-house projects are usually directly related to ongoing interpretation projects and include post-stack 3D volume merging and interpretability enhancement.

Data brokerage
Count Geophysics initially held rights to broker geological and geophysical data from a large number of oil exploration companies in the UKCS. This emphasis has changed and we now concentrate on areas of high value exploration data. Areas at present covered are large parts of Austria and the German North Sea.
