Data Access and Value Enhancement
Maximum value is achieved through workstation assistance, specialised processing and data brokerage. Two main workstation platforms are used for interpretation, data conversion or loading in-house and are available for in-house use or hire.
Workstation Assistance
- PC-based Seismic Micro-Technology has both geological and geophysical interpretation modules. Count also has the Kingdom applications for post-stack processing, synthetic generation and multi-dimensional interpretation.
- UNIX-based Schlumberger GeoFrame system has both IESX and Charisma 2D/3D interpretation software available in addition to mapping, synthetic generation, post-stack processing and complex data-loading capabilities. It is typically used for heavy-duty projects (Count Geophysics has handled projects with over 1000 well penetrations).
Specialised Processing
- In-house expertise includes post-stack 3D volume merging and interpretability enhancement.
Data Brokerage
- Count Geophysics hold rights to broker high value geological and geophysical exploration data including large parts of the German North Sea.
